Where did you grow up, and what was it like for you?

I had a great childhood growing up in Upstate New York.  I come from a huge family and they were very much a part of my life.  When I was 15 my family moved to a little town in South Carolina.  It was a bit of a culture shock, but it turned out to be good thing.  I’m still here and love it!

When did you start modeling? Is modeling your hobby or career?

I started modeling when I was 15.  I just recently got back into the business and am hoping to make modeling a career.  In the meantime, being an Insurance Agent and Hooter’s Girl is paying the bills!

How did you get into the modeling business?

I was in a teen pageant in New York and won New York State’s Most Promising Model…  that gave me the courage to give it a shot!  When I moved down south I won a model search in Charlotte, NC.  I signed with Rebel Management and attended the MAAI Convention in NYC,  then I signed with a couple other agencies.  Working at Hooter’s has also opened a few doors for me.

Where do you want to be a year from now in the modeling industry?

I would love to think that you could find me in a few magazines, calendars, maybe some commercials, and when you google my name there will be a few pages of great things to check out!

If you could work with anyone in the modeling or entertainment industry who would it be and why?

I would have to say Janice Dickinson…  Being the World’s First Supermodel, she definitely has a lot of knowledge of the industry.  I was also raised with a “tell it like it is” but supportive family.  So even though it may be harsh, I think I could learn from the criticism and make it constructive.
