When did you start modeling? How did you get into it?
I started modeling last year. My friend introduced me to one of her friends who was the photographer for a catalog. I did a photoshoot with him and I was put in two different catalogs for the company. I loved working with the photographer. It was a lot of fun. After that I decided that it was something I would like to make in to a career.
Where do you want to be a year from now in the modeling industry?
I would like to get a cover of a magazine within the next year. I am working hard to make that happen.
Other than your looks, what do you bring to the modeling industry?
I am outgoing and fun, but I take my work very seriously. I always put 110% into every shoot that I do. I consider myself very intelligent and driven, and not simply a pretty face with a nice body.
What are some of the misconceptions people get about models?
A lot of people seem to think that it is easy money. This is probably one of the hardest jobs that I have ever had. There are a lot of beautiful women in the industry. A model has to somehow get themselves noticed above all the rest. Not to mention, a lot of the time photo shoots and promo work can be in very uncomfortable conditions. Standing, posing, and walking in very hot and humid weather or very cold and rainy weather, for a couple of hours, all in high heels.
If you could work with anyone in the modeling/entertainment industry who would it be and why?
Marzia Prince. She was my inspiration when I started modeling. She is beautiful and in amazing shape! I hope that someday I can get into some fitness-oriented modeling.
